What a start to this new Blog!

It's one of those times that every mum dreads...when your child is ill.

It started with J with a temp yesterday morning (and feeling very sorry for himself) and today C is poorly, so no school or nursery for them.

So...how to keep the non-poorly one entertained, whilst looking after the sick child and the baby too? Not easy!

Yesterday we had a movie day, which worked well as we haven't done it for a while and J was able to nap on the sofa when he needed to. 

Today was trickier as J was back to his usual self and C was wanting to play when the medicine was working! So drawing, sticking and action figures were the order of the day!

We also took the opportunity to do our Lego Quest for the week. This week's theme was Halloween (not sure why as we're in the middle of July!) and this is what J created that reminds him of Halloween...it's a big scary monster!!

C still has a temp late this evening so fingers crossed, it's as short-lived as J's illness and that he's a happy chappy once again in the morning.
